I hold a Master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from Johns Hopkins University and bring extensive experience solving geospatial challenges in collaborative, fast-paced environments. I’ve worked closely with teams, clients, and end-users to streamline workflows and develop mapping solutions for county and local governments. In the nearly 5 years as a GIS Support Technician, I identified, developed, and implemented GIS solutions for county and city government employees to support integration into an e-government GIS portal. I supported more than 200 clients by creating, maintaining, and updating geospatial databases while managing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of vector and raster data for export across multiple platforms. I also created, maintained, and edited features, shapefiles, and geodatabases using ArcGIS applications on behalf of clients. In this role, I provided a high level of customer service through clear verbal and written communication, timely follow-ups, and proactive problem solving.
