Enterprise GIS Administrator

Remote/Pacific Northwest, WA, USA
Purpose:
GIS technical lead guiding and supporting the design, implementation, and support of WSRB’s geospatial system infrastructure.

Essential Functions:
GIS Infrastructure Management:
· Install, configure, maintain and support GIS software and hardware, including:
o ArcGIS Pro
o ArcGIS Enterprise (Server, Portal, ArcSDE)
o Data Store
o ArcGIS Online
o SQL Server
· Manage user accounts and security protocols.
· Perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
· Update software according to ESRI support matrix.
· System scalability and performance optimization.

Geospatial Data Management:
· Develop and implement data quality control procedures.
· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness within the GIS database.
· Archive and manage historical geospatial data.
· Collaborate with other stakeholders in the organization to determine and provide GIS data.

GIS Application Development:
· Partner with the development team on the design and development of custom GIS applications, tools, and APIs.
· Configure data delivery products including dashboards and reports.

Support and Training:
· Provide technical support to internal customers on GIS software and applications.
· Assist users in identifying and utilizing spatial data for their workflows.

Supervisory Responsibility:
None
Additional Responsibilities:
· Attends daily meetings within the Technology Solutions department and various other meetings on a regular basis.
· Complies with departmental and WSRB policies and procedures.
· Other projects and duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:
· 5 years’ experience maintaining ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise environments.
· SQL Server relational database management.
· ArcGIS Pro.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Ability to work and coordinate closely with development team and business stakeholders.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including Office 365).
· Experience with Agile/Scrum and Agile project management software.

Internal / External Contacts:
· Daily contact with internal department personnel at WSRB, and all levels of management at WSRB.
· Occasional contact with external customers or vendors.

Working Conditions:
· Typical remote working conditions.
· Travel to Seattle up to 8 times per year for All-Team and department meetings.
· Ability to use computer mouse and keyboard.
· Ability to sit for long periods of time.
· Repetitive use of hands required.

Pay Range: $87,432 - $139,891
