Raphael Mawrence

Los Angeles, CA, USA

I am a Data Analytics Specialist with over 5 years of professional GIS work experience in governmental, NGO, and corporate environments using governmental, private, and public datasets at local and country levels. I am comfortable utilizing ArcGIS Pro and its associated packages and platforms such as the ArcPy library in coordination with Jupyter Lab notebooks and ArcGIS Online/Dashboards on a dialy basis. While I enjoy the position that I am currently in, I have always been interested in the conservation, preservation, and discovery of unique and/or historical habitats and am therefore looking to relocate to a position where I can apply my expertise in these fields, particularly working as a GIS Analyst/Specialist or Cartographer with a company that specializes in rainforest or underwater surveying/archaeology or emergency/disaster management.
Some results of my professional GIS work experience are listed below, which is a testament to my expertise, ability to collaborate with and communicate important information to peer professionals and participants in organizations and agencies, and competency in adhering to state and federal standards to deliver GIS products for external stakeholders:
• Assisted in mobility and utility asset deliveries to more than 50 clients exceeding 50,000km in over 10 different European countries;
• Act as the key user for GIS software;
• Produced ArcGIS Pro user guides for database management, quality assurance, and the delivery of products at Rainforest Alliance and Cyclomedia, and drafted compliance documents for NEPA at the BLM;
• Coordinated as a Delivery Manager at Cyclomedia with the largest telecommunication company in Belgium to ensure their roll out fiber optics for 95% of the country.
For additional background information, such as my peer-reviewed publication or volunteer work around the world, please refer to my Resume and LinkedIn page.
Thank you very much for your time in reviewing my profile and I hope to hear from you soon.
